  It's reliable, affordable and more powerful. The new ATmega4809microcontroller fixes the limitations of older ATmega328P-basedboards - you can add a second hardware serial port! More peripheralsand memory means you can tackle more ambitious projects.Configurable Custom Logic (CCL) is a great way to get beginners moreinterested in hardware. We use a good quality USB chip so people don'thave connection or driver issues. A separate processor that handles theUSB interface can also implement different USB classes, such as aHuman Interface Device (HID), rather than just the classic CDC/UART

  In fact, the ATmega4809 we use on the Uno WiFi R2 and Nano Every isnot directly compatible with the ATmega328P; however, we have implemented a compatibility layer that translates low-level registerwrites without any overhead, so the result is large Most libraries andsketches, even those that directly access GPIO registers, work out of thebox.
  The board comes in two options: with or without headers, allowing youto embed the Nano Every into any kind of invention, includingwearables. The board has inlaid connectors and no components on theB side. These features allow you to solder the board directly to yourown design, minimizing the overall prototype height.
