Overview

Introducing the next evolution in the Raspberry Pi lineage: the Raspberry Pi 5. Triumphing over the Raspberry Pi 4, this groundbreaking addition to the Raspberry Pi family offers a CPU that is 2-3 times more powerful, a significantly enhanced GPU, and improved camera, display, and USB interfaces. This leap in interface innovation is powered by Raspberry Pi's proprietary RP1 I/O control chip, marking its first deployment in a flagship model. Responding to popular demand, the Raspberry Pi 5 introduces two pivotal features to aid in tracking sales and potential returns:

1) Each board features a distinct marking on the upper side of the PCB to indicate the memory density fitted to each specific unit (as depicted in the accompanying graphic).
2) Every board comes with a unique serial number on both the PCB and the individual carton, facilitating precise tracking of shipped units to specific customers. To leverage this tracking system, ensure serial numbers are recorded during the outbound shipping process. Additionally, full shipments of 180 boards come equipped with an external barcode to catalog the contents of each shipment.

Accessories - 27W USB-C PD Power Supply

Introducing the robust 27W USB-C PD (Power Delivery) Power Supply, delivering up to 5.1V, 5A to empower the Raspberry Pi 5 to support a broader range of peripherals. By default, the four USB ports on the Raspberry Pi 5 draw a nominal 600mA, which automatically escalates to 1.6A upon detecting the USB-C PD Power Supply.
This versatile power supply can also deliver 3A at 9V, 2.25A at 12V, and 1.8A at 15V to PD-compatible devices, making it a cost-effective solution for various general-purpose applications beyond Raspberry Pi.

Accessories - Active Cooler

The Active Cooler offers an alternative cooling solution for users operating their Raspberry Pi 5 under heavy load without a case. It combines a substantial metal heatsink with a variable-speed blower, powered and regulated via the fan connector, attaching seamlessly to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB using sprung pins in the mounting holes.

Accessories - RTC Battery

The power-management IC on the Raspberry Pi 5 integrates a real-time clock and charging circuitry for a button cell battery, ensuring the clock remains powered even when the main power is disconnected.

We provide a Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery, featuring a two-pin plug for easy connection to the battery connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB. The package includes a double-sided adhesive pad for convenient attachment inside a case or any other suitable location.

Accessories - Camera and Display Adapter Cables

Equipped with two four-lane MIPI connectors, the Raspberry Pi 5 can support either a camera or a display on each connector. These connectors utilize the 22-way, 0.5mm-pitch 'mini' FPC format, identical to those in the Compute Module Development Kit, necessitating adapter cables to connect with the 15-way, 1mm-pitch 'standard' format connectors on current camera and display products.

We offer mini-to-standard adapter cables for cameras and displays in lengths of 200mm, 300mm, and 500mm, ensuring compatibility and flexibility.
Important Note: Ensure that you do not use a camera cable with a display, and vice versa, to prevent any operational issues.
