Overview

The Raspberry Pi 5 ushers in a new era of computing, surpassing the high standards set by the Raspberry Pi 4. This flagship model boasts a CPU that is 2-3 times more powerful and a significantly upgraded GPU. Enhancements extend to the camera, display, and USB interfaces, making it an exceptional addition to the Raspberry Pi family. The groundbreaking RP1 I/O control chip, designed by Raspberry Pi, is a first in flagship products and drives these innovations. Responding to customer demand, two new features have been introduced for better tracking of product sales and returns:

1) Each board is marked on the upper side of the PCB to indicate the fitted memory density, clearly visible in the provided graphic.
2) Every board features a unique serial number on both the PCB and individual carton, enabling precise tracking of shipped units. During outbound shipping, record these serial numbers. Full shippers containing 180 boards have an external barcode for comprehensive content tracking.

Accessories - Raspberry Pi 5 case

The new Raspberry Pi 5 case is a refined version of its predecessor, featuring advanced thermal capabilities to support the higher peak power of the Raspberry Pi 5. It includes a variable-speed fan, powered and controlled via a dedicated connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB.

The case is initially available in our signature red/white color scheme, with a black/grey option coming soon.

Accessories - 27W USB-C PD Power Supply

The new 27W USB-C PD Power Supply enhances the Raspberry Pi 5's ability to support a broader range of peripherals by providing up to 5.1V and 5A of power. By default, the total power from the four USB ports is limited to 600mA; this increases to 1.6A when the USB-C PD Power Supply is detected.
This versatile power supply can also deliver 3A at 9V, 2.25A at 12V, and 1.8A at 15V to PD-compatible devices, making it a cost-effective solution for various applications beyond Raspberry Pi.

Accessories - Active cooler

The Active Cooler is an alternative cooling solution designed for heavy, sustained loads. It combines a large metal heatsink with a variable-speed blower, powered and controlled via the fan connector, and attached to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB with sprung pins.

Accessories - RTC battery

The Raspberry Pi 5's power-management IC includes a real-time clock and charging circuit for a button cell battery, ensuring the clock runs even when the main power is disconnected.

We offer the Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery, which comes with a two-pin plug compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB and a double-sided adhesive pad for convenient placement inside a case or other location.

Accessories - Camera and display adapter cables

Raspberry Pi 5 features two four-lane MIPI connectors that support either a camera or a display. These connectors use the 22-way, 0.5mm-pitch 'mini' FPC format, requiring adapter cables to connect to the standard 15-way, 1mm-pitch connectors on current camera and display products.

We offer mini-to-standard adapter cables for cameras and displays in lengths of 200mm, 300mm, and 500mm.
Important Reminder: A camera cable should not be used with a display, and vice versa. Ensure you use the correct cable for each component to avoid any potential damage or malfunction.
